Network Marketing

Hi fellow readers & bloggers! My last blog was about taking that first step and that I did! I have been proscrastinating about joining a network marketing company for about a year now. I finally joined last month and I wished i joined it sooner. Lesson learned .. don't put it off cuz time is money! Have a to-do-list whether is daily, weekly or yearly.

As soon as I mention network marketing .. let me guess what comes to mind .. MLM?? Pyramid? Ponzi?? Well there are scams and there are legit businesses out there that would rather pay you to advertise by word of mouth (networking) instead of paying for advertising.

You must first have an interest in the product or service .. if you don't .. forget about it! You also have to do your home work on the business, make sure it's not a scam, learn about their compensation plan and if you truly have an interest in the business.

Corporations somewhat operate like an MLM but doesn't stand for multilevel marketing. I would say it stands for multi level management!

Would you rather wake up to an alarm clock, get a steady paycheck but get taxed to death, be in the rat race?? OR would you rather work for yourself, set your own schedule, be boss-free and get paid by residual income??

After trying many network marketing companies i finally found one which I will stick to and be persistent about! This biz only operates in the US or in Canada except some states/provinces and is listed on the NYSE.

If you're the least bit curious about the company I just blogged about please send me an email at successdriven888@gmail.com

I'm looking for business minded, hard working and persistent people who want to get out of the rat race! Serious inquiries only!

First Step

Well .. here i am blogging once again about a year later. I gotta get rid of this very bad habit which i've blogged about procrastination.

After reading many books .. i notice a point each and every book mentions which is to decide what you want. Second .. you must plan how you're going to accomplish it and how you're going to get there. Third .. take that first step and get the ball rolling. Write down your goals and give yourself a deadline for it to be done. It will be a rough road to success but once you reach it .. it will be very rewarding with a sense of fulfillment. Remember the saying "Quitters never win and winners never quit."

You must find your passion. What do you love to do? What are your skills and talents. Once determined .. then you can start planning your journey and be persistent until you get there.

As I write this blog the Vancouver 2010 Olympics is quickly coming to an end. Boo! Just think of all the training and practice our athletes went through in order to go for the Gold. How are you going to get your gold medal? Will you be wearing or endorsing the Nike brand like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods? Will you be a public figure such as Bill Gates or an award winning actor/actress? Will you be a hero in helping to save our environment? Maybe a doctor who has found a cure to a disease?

The possibities are endless. Plan your journey now and good luck!

It's Time to Catch Up .. on my blogging .. :)

Hello my fellow readers and thank you for reading my blog. The reason I have not blogged for a couple months is because I simply could not find the time. Call it what you want .. procrastinating. Something to justify my excuse is .. I heard on the radio a couple months ago that ninety-five percent of all blogs are inactive. That number isn't surprising to me cuz it's simply difficult to fit in our daily schedule .. sleep .. work .. eat .. do chores .. enjoy the weekends doing our hobbies.. repeat the cycle. It's a vicious cycle unless of course you're self employed. As you know time is something you cannot get back if wasted which is why time management would be good to learn. They also mentioned on the radio that blogs can be a sentence, a paragraph or as long as newspaper article .. heck write a book if you want. If it's only one sentence though I would consider that more like tweeting. For those who haven't heard of it .. tweetin' is the term for when you are using twitter. But if you agree that blogs can be one sentence maybe we should try to fit blogging in our daily routine .. :)

Thirteen .. Lucky or Unlucky?

Another interesting article which I found today was about the group who had won the $50M windfall in Canada. They were thirteen women working on the thirteenth floor of the building. I always thought the floors on the buildings jump from twelve to fourteen. Obviously there a some that do have a thirteenth floor. Would you be uneasy about working on that floor or living on the thirteenth floor of an apartment?

I guess that would depend if you are superstitious or believe in numerology. As for me, I used to let Friday the 13th dates bother me. Whenever I did worry about it that's when the day would start going wrong for me. If I treated the day as just another day it did turn out to be a regular or great day.

The women who won the windfall were all in the payroll department. Poor employees working for this company .. their pay might be delayed unless the company quickly finds replacements such as temporary workers assuming all the women quit.

Are you superstitious with the #13? Are you superstitious at all? In religion(s) you're not supposed to believe in superstition. Do you quickly read the horoscope when reading the paper during coffee break?

The question is are you going to control or be controlled??

To Spend or not to Spend ..

To Spend or not to Spend .. That is the question!! As I read the headlines on my homepage (Yahoo!) I read an interesting article about a man/couple who had applied for a $10,000 overdraft. My gosh who would need an overdraft in that amount?? Unless you write a lot of cheques in the thousands. Obviously they were approved by the bank it was approved with a few too many zeros.

If I were to do a poll about this I'm guessing fifty percent of the people would be honest and would tell the bank. The other half of course would be out of control by greed, get all excited and flee the country as the couple did.

If the money was in your bank account and knowing that it doesn't really belong to you, how do you think you would handle the situation?? Would you spend it? After all, it is your bank account.

The laws are different in various countries and I would love to hear from anyone in the legal field or anyone's thoughts in general.

Pacquiao vs Hatton Match

On the evening of May 2nd '09 we were all glued to our tubes. Ok maybe not all but many. I really thought this match would have gone the distance .. maybe up to 10 rounds. Surprisingly it was a rather short fight but quite a thriller. I was hoping it would be as exciting as the Thrilla in Manila but it was nowhere close.

Some flashbacks every time I think of the fight are .. the British with their loud horns. Our famous singer Martin Rivera sang our anthem. Tom Jones and Jasmin singing the other anthems.
I will never forget when Dela Hoya was showing himself with the Hatton mask .. hahaha .. I'll bet you he quickly left the MGM after Hatton was seeing stars on the floor. When the introductions were being done Hatton was psyching himself up as any other boxer would. From the way he was doing it though i was thinking one thing. This guy is definitely overconfident! Hatton was punching himself in the face. Hahaha! I was hoping for a long bout but after seeing Hatton and how he was sticking to Pacman like white on rice in the first round .. I thought .. finish him off early Manny!! Then Pacquio gave me my wish. Hatton .. was down and out and seeing stars! Confidence is important in any endevour but overconfidence will kill ya!

I was surprised to hear when people were saying Manny is the Greatest of all. This surprised me cuz Manny is still at an early stage in his career. I know Ali is the Greatest of all time so they were most likely referring to the active fighters.

Bring on Floyd!! This guy is really risking it if he comes out of retirement and loses. From what I hear he has a perfect record. That record just might be shattered. I would rather retire with no losses if I were in his shoes.

Before Pacman became famous people probably didn't know where our country was on the globe. Now people will probably visit our beautiful white sand beaches in our homeland .. the Philippines!

Manny Pacquiao is one of many role models who proved that you can accomplish anything .. if you set your mind to it!

From Start to Finish

Well, I have just finished watching the All Star Game. I must say it was entertaining from start to finish. You can feel the electricity in Phoenix AZ with the presence the Great Muhomed Ali, Terell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys. The very stunning Eva Longoria Parker. Spike Lee with sitting on the sidelines with the mascots particularly the Chicago Bulls mascot .. LOL

During the starting lineup intros, Shaq stunned the crowd by struttin' his moves with the Jabbawockeez! You gotta see this .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZu8J_ZNA4M
When Lebron James was introduced he also showed his dance moves!

The national anthems were sung by Tami and Jordan Sparks (American Idol). I was thinking it would be more a a match between Kobe Bryant and Lebron James tonight. All though Shaq isn't that great of a passer he made some nice passes. Dwight Howard thought he could distract the big man Shaq but then Shaq passed the ball between Dwight's legs. Haha .. ah classic!

At half time the presentation of the Rings for the Redeem Team. A moment of silence to remember our troops.

All though the game wasn't too exciting after half time, there were alot of very enternaining moments with the players all having fun, kiddin' around with one another.

I must say it seemed like there was never any tension with Shaq and Kobe. Playin' a little one on one during the warmups. Passing like the days when they were both Lakers. Then at the conclusion of the game Shaq and Kobe were chosen as Co MVP!

And that concludes my report on the All Star Game. Good night all!
